One legend a day, six guesses. Every guess tells you how close you are on club, position, era and rating — the same four things that decide a card in a Vikto match.
Name any legend below. Every trait your guess gets right turns red and fills in above; an arrow on your guess means the answer is higher or lower. Fill all four and the name is usually obvious.
Type any footballer from the Vikto rosters and press Guess. You get six attempts, and each one is scored against four clues: the club or nation whose pool the legend belongs to, the position they play, the decade their card covers, and their rating out of 100. A filled red cell means that clue matches exactly, and that trait is then filled in on the hidden card at the top of the panel. An arrow means you're too low or too high.
The answer is always an Icon — one of the 79 legends the community has voted into the top tier — so it's always someone you have a fair chance of naming. Your guesses can be any of the 347 players in the game.
The counter beside the hidden card shows how many Icons are still consistent with everything you've been told, arrows included. It never names them: knowing the pool and the position alone narrows the field to three legends on average, so listing the survivors would answer the puzzle for you. Producing the name is the game.
Nothing here is invented for the puzzle. Every rating is the legend's real card score in Vikto, built from honours won (40 points), position-normalised impact (40) and global recognition (20). The era clue is the decade the card's career midpoint falls in — the same calculation that decides whether a card gets its 10% era boost in a real match.
That means the puzzle doubles as practice. Knowing that Beckenbauer is a 96 defender whose card sits in the 1970s is worth money in an actual auction. Browse every pool on the legends hub, or read the rankings by position: strikers, midfielders, defenders and wingers.
Guessing a legend is recall. Vikto is valuation — you and one opponent bid blind on the same six legends from a $250M budget, keep three each, and the duels decide it. Knowing a card is an 88 rather than a 94 is the whole difference between a good bid and a bad one.
