Soccer Card Game — Free, Online, Two Players

Vikto is a soccer card game with no packs to open and nothing to buy. Two players, 396 hand-rated legend cards, one blind auction each. You bid against a real opponent for the same six cards, end up with three, and the duels decide it. It runs in a browser and it’s free.

What kind of game?

An auction game, not a collection game. That’s the difference that matters, because almost every other soccer card product is built around acquiring cards — packs, trades, a market, a grind. Here every card in a pool is available in every match and the only question is what you’re willing to pay.

You pick a club or national team and a position — attackers, midfielders or defenders. Six cards from that pool are drawn. You see all six up front with their scores hidden, they shuffle, and then they come up one at a time.

How does a match work?

Each card goes to a blind auction. You both start with $250M, the minimum bid is $1M, and passing isn’t allowed. You enter a number, your opponent enters theirs, and nothing is revealed until you’ve both locked in. The higher bid takes the card; equal bids are settled by a server coin flip.

The rule that shapes every decision: as soon as one player owns three cards, every card still in the deck goes to the opponent automatically. Overspending early doesn’t just cost money — it hands them the rest of the pool.

How do the duels work?

Before they resolve you name a captain, one of your three cards, worth +10% on its score. Then both squads are ranked and duelled off: best card against best, second against second, third against third.

A card whose decade matches the match era scores 10% more, or 15% if it’s an Icon, and the same applies when the venue fits. Win two duels out of three and you win the match — the total across your three cards decides nothing.

What’s on the cards?

Every card is a real legend with a score out of 100, built from three parts: honours won (40), position-normalised impact (40), and how widely the name is recognised (20).

The scale runs from Pelé and Messi at 99 down to squad players in the mid-70s. Eleven pools are live — Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Marseille, Western Sydney Wanderers, plus France, Brazil, England and Germany — each with 36 cards, twelve per position.

The top of every pool is Icon tier: cards that carry a score boost and the larger era and venue multipliers. Icons are decided by community vote, not by us, and you can browse every pool in full on the legends hub before you play.

Is it really free?

Yes, and there’s nothing to buy that would make you stronger. No packs, no premium currency, no subscription, no card resale between players. Two accounts created a year apart have identical tools in a match.

The cards you win stay in your collection and can be brought back as jokers later at a coin cost, which is the only progression the game has. It gives your history weight without turning it into a market.

Yes. No packs, no purchases, no subscription, and no paid advantage of any kind.

Do I need to download an app?

No. It runs in any mobile or desktop browser.

How long does a match take?

Five minutes if you’re both online. Turns have a 24-hour window, so an async match can run across a day or two.

Can I play against a friend?

Are the cards real players?

All-time legends, hand-picked per club and nation — 36 per pool, rated on a single published scale.

Can I trade or sell cards?

No. Cards can’t be transferred between players, which keeps squads from being bought.
